Educara SURVEY: Data acquisition for the web

SURVEY makes it easy for anybody to build and manage web based data collection. SURVEY can help your organization better manage the task of collecting data on the web, easily and affordably.

SURVEY is useful for both commercial and academic researchers, to collect marketing data, confirm internal hypotheses, teach research methods, solicit employee feedback, and assist academic research.

SURVEY provides great flexibility by expanding the number of data types available in a web based format. Collected responses can be exported in an easy-to-use tab delimited format or in DyNetML, an open XML standard tailored for network data analysis.

Educara developed SURVEY in cooperation with the University of Florida under grants from the Ford Motor Co. and the National Science Foundation.

• Easy Editing: SURVEY includes an easy-to-use web based editor for building questionnaires.
• Extensible Data Types: SURVEY includes components for collecting biographical, frame substitution, free list, long answer, multiple choice, open ended, paired comparison, pile sort, short answer, and triad test data. Additional data types can be added through easy to develop question plug-ins.
• Flexible Exporting: Choose to export your data in a tab delimited format or in the DyNetML XML standard.
• Templates: SURVEY includes several questionnaire templates for a variety of user experiences. You can also create your own templates using HTML and uploaded images.
• Access Control: SURVEY allows researchers to limit access to individual questionnaires through Access PIN controls.
• Easily Localized: SURVEY can easily be customized to meet your language needs. SURVEY is currently available in English and Latin American Spanish.
